Knowledge of Virtualbox *

None or very little: I have never heard the term used or I know what it is but I have never installed an OS in Virtualbox.

Moderate: I have installed an OS in Virtualbox and regularly work with VMs but I don’t know all Virtualbox intricacies.

Good: I can configure Virtualbox VMs from the command line and modify necessary XML files.

Knowledge of Linux usage and command line *

None or very little: I have never installed a Linux distribution on my own or worked in a Linux shell (i.e. command line).

Moderate: I have installed my own Linux distribution (e.g. Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora) and can comfortably work with the command line.

Good: I have taken a course in Unix/Linux usage and programming and remember most of the material in it.

Knowledge of basic network protols (TCP, IP, Ethernet) *

None or very little: I don’t even know what the acronyms stand for or I don’t know how to configure the network on a PC.

Moderate: I know the basic features of the protocols and I can configure my own IP address and find out my MAC address.
